Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chemical Dependency Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Stepan is seeking a Chemical Operator to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. In this role, you will report to the Production Superintendent.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • All phases of production in a chemical manufacturing environment, including inventory or raw materials, blending procedure, SAP entry, housekeeping, and safe operations
    • The position requires the employee to work 12 hour rotating shifts. Six weeks on days and six weeks on night.
    • In addition, the successful candidate will start at the basic level of operations as a chemical operator and can progress based on skill set and ability to performs the different levels of the chemical operator position.

    Qualifications :

    • 1-3 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Chemical industry.
    • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
    • Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision to complete their responsibilities.
    • Experience in manufacturing environment or chemical industry is preferred.

    Education : HS Degree or Equivalent.
