Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chemical Dependency Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, chemicals and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

    Pay

    Starting wage is $17.50 per hour with a $1.25 per hour increase after successful completion of training and 6 months of employment.

    Employee Bonus Program - eligible to earn $2,000 annual bonus divided, determined and paid quarterly after first full quarter employed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
    • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
    • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, chemicals or other stock items. Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
    • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
    • Marks materials with identifying information. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
    • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
    • Drives forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to loading dock.
    • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

    Requirements

    • Must have HS diploma or GED.
    • Forklift experience required.
    • Previous experience within an industrial warehouse setting or manufacturing environment highly preferred.
    • Previous chemical industry experience highly preferred.
    • Must possess basic math skills and be able to perform calculations (weight, counts, and conversions)
    • Must be good with hands and able to work in the elements of all seasons.
