Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, journal entries, and account analysis. Knowledge of financial concepts and experience with software such as Quickbooks is highly desirable.

Accountant position is responsible for assisting with various accounting and administrative functions over 3 portfolio companies in the Industrial Services and Oilfield Services sector. Opportunity for growth exists with rapidly growing portfolio companies with both local and outside ownership. Competitive salary based on experience.

Duties:

• Assist Accounts Payable department with invoice processing.
• Assist Accounts Receivable department with collections and payment processing.
• Assist with various month-end processes to include journal entries and reconciliations.
• Asset tracking and inventory management.
• Assist with Human Resource duties as needed to include but not limited to reconciliation of employee benefits.
• Perform various administrative functions to include scanning and filing.
• Maintain vehicle/driver files to include: maintenance, title, registration, inspections, driver qualifications, driver hours availability, etc.
• Operate Fuel card account to include issuance of new fuel cards and monitoring transactions.
• Prepare Vehicle tax reports to include IFTA and 2290 and other vehicle filings to include UCR registration and Hazmat registrations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in accounting preferred, but not required.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office; Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of chemical and/or construction industry preferred, but not required.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with multi-disciplined departments and prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Detail oriented and organized.
