Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members.     Job Overview

    The service technician position in the Orange County/LA area is responsible for providing routine maintenance and inventory control including chemical delivery, to customers as well as promoting the company's chemical program with new and existing customers.


    Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide routine maintenance and inventory control and chemical delivery to customers in the restaurant, hospitality and healthcare industries
    • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
    • Invoicing and collections
    • Preventative maintenance on commercial restaurant equipment including dish machines, chemical dispensers, water treatment and laundry
    • Install commercial dish machines and chemical dispensing systems
    • Respond to and resolve emergency service calls
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Train end-users on chemical systems and equipment
    • Frequently use hand and power tools
    • Safely Driving to customer sites
    • Perform minor plumbing repairs
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Other duties as assigned

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in one or more of the following areas: construction, electrical, plumbing, routine preventative maintenance, installation of commercial chemical systems or applications
    • Experience in the commercial chemical industry servicing dish machines / warewash / water treatment / laundry a plus but not required
    • Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call during nights and weekends
    • Valid driver's license
    • Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle records check
    • Mechanical ability
    • Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
    • Possess good organizational skills
    • Tech Savvy - ability to use smart phones and learn new technologies
    • Proficiency in the English language, bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
    • Frequent kneeling, standing, twisting and bending
    • Frequent use of hand and power tools
    • Ability to work with electrical and plumbing mechanics
    • Ability to read schematics and follow safety instructions

    Travel

    Daily travel by company vehicle is required. Company vehicle, gas card and maintenance are provided for business use.
