Job Summary:
The Information Technology Director is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership position that manages the IT team, maintains the IT infrastructure of the Company, understands business principles, and plays a pivotal role in the strategic planning, optimization, security, coordination, and management of the Company’s technology resources and intellectual property. The IT Director reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and works closely with department managers to ensure technology solutions are efficient and effective in supporting their operational business needs. The IT Director works closely with the CIO to lead the Company’s digital transformation initiatives and help the Company achieve its objectives of becoming a data-driven business that operates in an automated and efficient manner. Primary responsibilities include (i) working with senior managers to manage the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and its multitude of integrated software applications, (ii) preparing ERP standard operating procedures (SOPs), (iii) training employees on ERP procedures and other software applications, (iv) tracking, managing, and maintaining PC and telecommunication hardware and software assets in excellent working order, (v) cybersecurity, (vi) developing innovative solutions to business problems, (vii) vetting potential software applications, and (viii) familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to determine where it could add value in the Company’s business processes.
