Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chemical Dependency Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a Chemical Dependency Coordinator to join our team.

    The Chemical Dependency Coordinator manages the clerical and training functions of the chemical dependency program to enhance both patient care and regulatory compliance.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors preferred.
    • One (1) year experience working with a behavioral health population and previous secretarial experience preferred.
    • Must possess knowledge of clerical duties necessary to support staff/patients on assigned unit.
