Junior Chemical Engineer
Location: Brunswick, GA
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 7% Bonus Relocation
Overview:
This is a great opportunity for a junior engineer to be mentored by senior chemical engineers at a modern specialty chemical site. This DCS controlled plant was recently upgraded with 40 million dollars of capital and another multimillion-dollar expansion plan is underway. This company has multiple sister plants throughout the Southeast and overseas producing chemicals, consumer products, flavors, and pet foods that offer growth opportunities for this engineer. This person will join a small engineering team and will mostly be doing process optimization improvement and small capital project work. This role comes with a bonus and a relocation package.
Minimum Requirements:
· B.S. Chemical Engineering
o 1 years of manufacturing experience, ideally out of chemicals but acceptable second choices being , foods, pharmaceuticals, and possibly films and widgets.
o New graduates with manufacturing co-op/internship experience will be considered.
· Needs to be the type of person who seeks out process improvement opportunities.
