Toledo Chemical 3PL specializes in bulk transloading and specialty chemical storage and work orders. We are seeking a Chemical Operator with forklift certification for our location in Toledo, OH.

Chemical Operator- Railroad

The Chemical Operator:

• Operates a forklift to transload bulk products from railcars to tank trucks and IBC's .
• Blends products in vessels with raw materials following manufacturing procedures.
• Makes sure blend concentrations and weights are accurate inside vessels.
• Samples blends or storage vessels as needed.
• Fill sand labels totes with finished products from blend tank or storage vessels.
• Connects hoses from railcars to trucks.
• Loads finished materials into tank trucks.
• Unloads raw materials from a rail car.
• Completes all tasks wearing the proper PPE.
• Maintains proper paperwork.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

• High School diploma or Equivalent.
• Must possess basic mathematical aptitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (No exceptions).
• Must have 3-5 years of forklift operating experience
• Must be reliable and on time every day.
• 3-5 years of knowledge and experience in chemical manufacturing processes and transloading.
• Consistent standing and walking throughout 9-hour shift.
• Additional physical requirements include lifting of up to 50lbs. throughout shift, climbing stairs and ladders.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
