Spray Tractor Operator for Chemical Applications and General Labor
This position includes multiple operational tasks involved with a rigorous tree, shrub, and perennial spraying and health programs. The plant material is grown and then sold throughout the intermountain west and beyond for use in landscapes. This position is located in our container operation in Acequia, Idaho. Some crossover with our field trees may happen a few miles away.
This position would include mostly hands on responsibilities with mixing and spraying chemicals on trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses and others areas as developed and assigned. Other physical work will be required when weather does not permit spraying. This position will assist on production crews doing various jobs during these times.
Plant Health
The actual agreed wage and benefits for this position ultimately depends upon experience. The company does offer to qualifying employees the following: Health Insurance, some Paid Time Off, 401K, & Cell Phone reimbursements. This position works mainly from February - November. During winter months employees are adjusted to various other maintenance tasks throughout the winter. Some employees choose to take the winter months off.
This position reports to a Grower Manager.
This position is an hourly farm position where hours worked are dependent upon the needs of the farm moving all aspects forward with outlined schedules and not jeopardizing the quality and health of the trees.
