Troubleshoots problems with equipment, respond to system notifications and makes required adjustments as needed. Additionally, Chemical Plant Operator enters required production data and information into logs. May unload or move materials. Follows all procedures for safe material handling and required safety gear. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or team leader. The Chemical Plant Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Description
Under the supervision of Plant superintendent, support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company. The chemical plant operator is responsible for monitoring; and safely/efficiently operating iodine chemical extraction plant. which extracts, produces, and packages raw iodine. Operator must ensure the highest quality product is produced at the most efficient chemical usage rate and lowest possible production cost. while adhering to all environmental, health and safety standards.
