Chemical Plant Operator controls equipment and systems that process chemical substances and materials into products. Operates equipment and monitors the production process to ensure efficient and safe output. Being a Chemical Plant Operator follows standard operating procedures and performs in process quality checks to identify and resolve issues during processing. Troubleshoots problems with equipment, respond to system notifications and makes required adjustments as needed. Additionally, Chemical Plant Operator enters required production data and information into logs. May unload or move materials. Follows all procedures for safe material handling and required safety gear. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or team leader. The Chemical Plant Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Reimagine What’s Possible Job Description We are hiring for CDL Class A - APEX Technician Truck Drivers to join our Lancaster, PA location. Join our fleet of Truck Drivers recognized for excellence in safety, customer service, and outstanding performance. With your safety being our number one goal, many of our drivers have achieved 1 million safe miles and have been recognized for their achievements. Job Duties Our dedicated team of independent Truck Driver/Technicians are required to safely deliver liquid nitrogen to customers and operate/maintain sophisticated portable pumping units for various customer applications. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Class A CDL. Tanker and HazMat endorsements (or willing to obtain prior to hire). 3 years of recent tractor trailer experience. 0 at-fault accidents within the last 3 years. No more than 1 citation within the last 3 years. Meet all DOT requirements. Live within a 1-hour radius of the Pryor, OK site Solid Decision-making skills / Work Independently Proven solid, safety record and stable work history. Oilfield experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work nights and weekends regularly. This position is a safety sensitive position.
