Being a Chemical Plant Operator follows standard operating procedures and performs in process quality checks to identify and resolve issues during processing. Troubleshoots problems with equipment, respond to system notifications and makes required adjustments as needed. Additionally, Chemical Plant Operator enters required production data and information into logs. May unload or move materials. Follows all procedures for safe material handling and required safety gear. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or team leader. The Chemical Plant Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Wash Plant & Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for operations of mobile equipment and wash plant operations. Employees are expected to operate all equipment in a safe manner. As a result, basic mechanical skills are required for maintenance of equipment and assistance to overall plant maintenance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Key duties of the Wash Plant & Mobile Equipment Operator include, but are not limited to:
wheel loader, excavator, dozer, haul truck, skid loader, and screener.
