Chemical Technician determines the physical and chemical properties of compounds and materials using quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis. Performs a variety of chemical tests using instrumental methods and standard test equipment. Being a Chemical Technician prepares materials for laboratory examination and conducts quality, safety, and compliance assessments. Follows established SOPs. Additionally, Chemical Technician sets up and maintains lab equipment. Records and tabulates data and documents observations and results. Requires an associate degree in chemistry, science or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Chemical Technician works under moderate supervision. Our nationwide chemical company is currently looking for individuals that are looking for a career. This is a production role that has many responsibilities. Will be setting up the machines and monitor product from the moment it gets loaded in until it gets out the shipping dock. The employee with troubleshoot machines if something is malfunctioning and would make minor repairs. Will be recording data and mixing products according to recipes. Will operate the tow motor as well occasionally. We are looking to interview for this role immediately.
