Performs a variety of chemical tests using instrumental methods and standard test equipment. Being a Chemical Technician prepares materials for laboratory examination and conducts quality, safety, and compliance assessments. Follows established SOPs. Additionally, Chemical Technician sets up and maintains lab equipment. Records and tabulates data and documents observations and results. Requires an associate degree in chemistry, science or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Chemical Technician works under moderate supervision. SUMMARY:
The Lab Technician is responsible for routine analytical testing to support Imperative Chemical Partners Technical Services and Operations programs. Over-sees day to day operational functionality of their lab while identifying and improving efficiencies of throughput and workflow. Develops, facilitates, and supports the Lab Quality Assurance program, including instrumentation maintenance schedules, calibration, and documentation of each component.
