Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemist to join our team. As a Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting quality control testing, analyzing samples, and assisting with product development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory setting and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Utilize laboratory information management systems to record and track test results
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including gas chromatography and spectroscopy instruments
- Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines during all testing procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development efforts
- Conduct scientific research to enhance existing products or develop new formulations
- Fabricate and evaluate prototypes to ensure product quality and performance
- Follow GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) protocols to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Experience with gas chromatography (GC) and HPLC
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines for pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, following safety protocols
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues during testing or analysis
- Knowledge of product development processes is a plus
