Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a leader in developing and manufacturing OTC products for the personal care industry in its search for a Chemist in Totowa, NJ. The Chemist will be responsible for analyzing batches, measuring physical parameters such as Viscosity, pH, and Density, interacting with vendors, documenting, collaborating with supervisor, and entering formulation.  For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities:  

• Maintain a lab note book.  
• Make batches.  
• Create ingredient qualitative and quantitative list.  
• Check next day specification from previous day batch.  
• Follow up with on-going stabilities.  
• Communicate with raw material vendors.  
• Attend in-house vendor presentations.  
• Enter formulation into the company formulator.  
• Review results with supervisor.  
• Analyze lab batch measuring physical parameters: Viscosity, pH, and Density.  Other duties as assigned by manager.  

Qualifications/Skills  

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or Biology that has had chemistry and organic chemistry classes).  
• Well organized and highly detail oriented.  
• Must work well with others and communicate effectively.
