Responsibilities
Beebe Healthcare is quickly growing and we are excited to have an opportunity for a Physician in Chief. Serving the Sussex County, DE area since 1916 and centered around the Lewes and Rehoboth Beaches, Beebe Healthcare is a 2 hospital network with 2010 licensed beds, a free standing ED, 4 walk- clinics, and multiple medical office buildings. The ideal candidate will meet our community’s need through growth, the advancement of integrated service lines, and meeting the challenges of a changing healthcare environment. The leadership candidate will assist the executive team in the execution of our mission, vision, and strategy for the health system in the medical domain; and provide quality matrixed oversight of the acute medicine service lines. This role will encompass clinical leadership, administrative responsibilities, medical staff development, quality improvement, clinical education, QI, patient centered care, collaboration & networking, and compliance & regulatory affairs.
