Northwest Health - Porter is seeking an innovative, strategic, operational, and transformational physician executive to provide leadership in all aspects of medical staff affairs for the hospital with an emphasis on creating a high-reliability culture of quality, patient safety, evidence-based medicine, and value-based clinical care. The goal of the Chief Medical Officer role is to set the vision and agenda for improvement in clinical outcomes, as well as resource utilization, patient-centered care coordination, and patient experience so as to optimize the quality of care through rigorous outcomes measurement, data analytics, and performance improvement processes. The Chief Medical Officer will manage the creation, updating, and implementation of quality and safety standards and processes for the hospital to ensure consistency and continuity with the goal of reducing inappropriate variation. Registration/Certification/Licensure: Board certification in medical specialty

Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school with an M.D. or D.O. degree with current licensure by the State of Indiana as a physician and surgeon along with significant management training; preference given to candidates with MBS, MPH or MHSA credentials.
