    REPORTS TO: President & CEO

    LOCATION: Rochester, NY (Hybrid)

    PAY RANGE: $165,000 to $175,000/year

    ABOUT THE POSITION: The Chief Growth Officer is an inaugural leadership position that will drive CCSI’s growth strategy. Our work makes a difference in communities across NYS and beyond, and as the Chief Growth Officer, you will help us expand our reach and the impact of our work by inspiring collaboration across our talented business area leaders and maturing the infrastructure that supports our business development and customer relationship management practices.

    SPECIFIC AREAS of FOCUS:


    Strategy / Innovation / Synergy

    • Leads the development and execution of CCSI’s integrated and long-term growth strategy, maintaining focus on building the strong bottom line needed to support continued growth and investment back into workforce and infrastructure.
    • Drives the creation of new services, revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and business models that meet customer needs, align with the organization's mission and vision, and propel growth.
    • Collaborates with other members of CCSI’s leadership teams on strategy development and execution, helping to shape the organization’s future and maintain our role as a trusted partner and advisor.
    • Creates synergy across business areas, fostering an environment that promotes sharing new ideas and making connections that add value across service lines and customers and amplify the impact of our work.
    • Develops and advances new pricing strategies and business models that provide value to our public sector customer base while building the ability to invest in CCSI’s people and the infrastructure we need to be a first-choice employer.


    Inspiration / Leadership / Execution

    • Inspires, leads, and connects teams driving CCSI’s business areas and our supporting infrastructure, including Consulting & Technical Assistance, Program Management, Emerging Business Opportunities, Research & Analytics, and Marketing & Communications.
    • Brings cross-functional insights to the President & CEO and other executive leadership team members regarding market/industry trends and CCSI’s overall growth trajectory.
    • Takes a data-driven approach to achieving business revenue and reinvestment objectives; uses data to assess performance and strategically allocates resources to achieve goals and take advantage of new opportunities.
    • Business Line Collaboration and Synergy
    • Fosters collaboration, integration, and synergy across business areas, technology, marketing, and finance, creating an environment where teams share ideas and insights, identify needs, and innovate – creating opportunities for personal and organizational breakthroughs.
    • Seeks opportunities to improve or refine workflows to remove barriers that sap energy and creativity, problem-solve issues, and take advantage of new learning


    Business Development

    • Cultivates committed customer relationships, developing business models and contracts that ensure mutual benefit and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Stays abreast of changes in our sector – including regulatory, funding, and policy changes that create opportunities or shape our services and programs.
    • Builds longstanding partnerships with customers and collaborators to access resources, expertise, and networks that support growth objectives.


    Fulfills other responsibilities as assigned.


    Requirements

    • Master’s degree in business administration, public health, healthcare administration, public administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in business development in the health / human services or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience. See CCSI's equivalency chart.)
    • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to identify innovative solutions to complex challenges and the courage to embrace unconventional ideas.
    • Experience leading, inspiring, and motivating teams, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
    • Track record of success in strategic planning, business development, and organizational growth.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong background in business and marketing.
    • Appreciation for the power and potential of data and technology in advancing organizational goals.

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be able to travel regularly between Rochester and Syracuse, NY and other parts of Western, Central and Southern Tier region of NYS as required to advance organizational goals.
