The Chief Operating Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Moorings Park Communities and is responsible for overseeing all three campuses, as well as facility and dining-related operations.

    One of the nation’s most financially stable senior living organizations, the non-profit organization consists of Moorings Park (Original Campus), Moorings Park at Grey Oaks (Grey Oaks), and Moorings Park Grande Lake (Grande Lake). Moorings Park is home to more than 700 residents at its original campus with another 200 at Grey Oaks and more than 250 at Grande Lake.     Contributions:

    • They must be responsible for setting, communicating, and driving the Vision, Mission, and strategic direction of all operating functions in full support of the CEO’s vision and the overall strategic direction of the Organization. 
    • They must maintain the cultural integrity of operations to uphold the Moorings Park Communities brand promise. The COO must ensure all community needs are met through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
    • The COO is responsible for ensuring compliance with current Federal, State, and local laws and regulations while assuring the highest level of quality care and resident satisfaction. 
    • The COO shall manage Moorings Park Communities subject to policy limitations by the CEO or as may be adopted by the Moorings Park Communities Board of Directors or any committee duly acting for the Board. 

     

    Job Requirements:

    • During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster.
    • The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive and effective leadership within the Continuing Care Retirement Community industry, preferably in Type A Lifecare Communities. 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language is required. 
    • An MBA, MHA, or equivalent combination of education and experience is also preferred. 
    • Proven and exceptional C-suite operational leadership experience in multi-campus, growth-oriented CCRC organizations is favorable but not required.
