Regional Academic Officer

  • Job Summary: The Regional Academic Officer MSN will provide oversight and support to campus program directors on a regional level. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a registered nurse and 3 years in nursing administration/leadership/supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    - Provide academic leadership and support to campus program directors to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices in nursing education
    - Collaborate with campus program directors to develop and implement effective strategies for student recruitment, retention, and success
    - Serve as a liaison between campus program directors and the CAO to ensure alignment with institutional goals and priorities
    - Conduct regular site visits to campuses within the region to assess program quality, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support as needed
    -Provide leadership on-site to multiple campuses through the territory
    - Provide professional development opportunities and resources for campus program directors and faculty to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness
    - Collaborate with institutional leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the mission and vision of the institution

    Qualifications:

    - Master's degree in nursing, Doctorate in Nursing DNP highly preferred

    - Active and unencumbered registered nurse license
    - Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a registered nurse
    - Minimum of 3 years in nursing leadership
    - Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation
    - Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders
    - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    - Knowledge of nursing education accreditation standards and requirements

    This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The Regional Academic Officer MSN will work closely with the CAO and other institutional leaders to ensure the success of nursing programs within the region.
