    Job Description

     

    The Chief Financial & Strategy Officer (CFSO) reports to the President/CEO of the company and is a key member of the senior leadership team. This role will work closely with the Board of Directors and the CEO to develop, define, and execute the strategic business plan. The CFSO will manage all aspects of the companys financial operations and serve as a trusted advisor for all strategic and enterprise endeavors. Additionally, this position will partner closely with the business in overseeing companywide resource allocation and generating detailed financial analyses and a navigational map ensuring the business ileveraging relevant data to grow free cash flow and EBITDA. The CFSO will also lead the M&A activities for the company. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     

             •   Develop the vision and define and execute the strategic business plan.

             •    Mentor and develop a team of 15 managing succession planning, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and      efficient team dynamic.

             •    Identify and implement processes to provide critical financial and operational information.

             •   Communicate, engage, and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, the locaLeadership Team, and other sister companies across the portfolio

             •    Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the Company's strategies and goals.

             •    Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.

             •    Own and maintain the corporate financial model with a rolling 12-month operating budget, P&L, and cash flow forecast.

             •   Review, analyze, and present bi-weekly financial results and provide recommendations.

             •   Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports.

             •   Identify, develop, and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches, and/or new service offerings.

             •   Supervise and manage the accounting, IT, and risk departments to ensure the proper functioning of the ERP and all financial systems.

             •   Oversee all contracting with counterparties ensuring proper safeguards and risk mitigants are in place.

             •   Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.

             •   Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data and financial statements (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).

             •   Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.

             •   Oversee the month-end closing process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.

             •   Build the 100-day and long-term integration plans for target companies.

     

    Education Requirements:

     

    •  BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business

    •  MBA or MSF (Master’s in Finance) a plus

    •  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus, not required.
