Chief Association Executive plans and directs all policies, objectives, and initiatives for an association, foundation, coalition, or other similar organization. Works with the Board of Directors to ensure all activities support the focus of the organization, including the development, promotion, and operations of the organization. Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. Additionally, Chief Association Executive may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a board of directors. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus.   • The YMCA of Fox Cities is hiring part-time substitute child care teachers. All child care teachers at the Y interact affectionately and respectfully with children. Our teachers enhance children's learning experiences through play, language and interactive activities. As a part-time teacher in YoungStar-rated child care center, you’ll use positive procedures when guiding behavior as well as being attentive, flexible and supportive of children and families.


    This is a part-time position with opportunities to be a substitute teacher at our Appleton (Appleton, Apple Creek & Child Learning Center), Greenville (Fox West), Neenah (Neenah-Menasha) and Kimberly (Heart of the Valley) child care centers. We will work with your schedule to find the right fit.

    • 18 years of age or older.
    • High school or its equivalency as determined by the DPI.
    • Lead-qualified early childhood teacher is preferred or willing to complete after hiring.

    Requirements to be Considered a Lead-Qualified Teacher

    • Minimum of Introduction to the Child Care Profession & Skills and Strategies for the Childcare Teacher or equivalent.
      • Teachers working in an infant room must have Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care or its equivalent within 6 months of hire.
    • Associates degree in Early Childhood education is preferred but not required.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience working with children.
