Works with the Board of Directors to ensure all activities support the focus of the organization, including the development, promotion, and operations of the organization. Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. Additionally, Chief Association Executive may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a board of directors. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus.
