Chief Association Executive jobs in Richmond, VA

The Executive Director leads the efforts to execute the BIAV mission to advance education, awareness, treatment and research to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury. This role is responsible for the execution of the association's strategic plan as well as ensuring and organizing resources to fulfill organizational objectives. Additionally, the ED is responsible for leadership and management of programs, finances ($1.2M budget), and operations.

Qualified applicants will have the below:

• Master's degree (preferred)
• Proven leadership success at a non-profit or association
• Strategic visioning, planning and execution
• Program Development and Advocacy
• Membership management
• Human resources (including DEI&B), administration and business operations
• Board and Committee Governance and collaboration
• Public Communication and Representation skills
• Program development, administration, communication/marketing and assessment
• Resource and Fund development, including advocacy, lobbying, and evaluation of grants
• Willingness and ability to solicit major donors
• Health and disability issues
• Legislative and regulatory processes at federal and state levels
• Experience and knowledge working with brain injured individuals, caregivers and service providers
• Statewide service delivery systems and resources, including rehabilitative services and Medicaid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
