    Experience and Qualifications:

    To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

    Required Education and Years of Experience:

    • 20 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
    • Four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
    • Advanced degree(s) may substitute for year(s) of experience

    Required Qualifications: ​

    • Must have TS/SCI Clearance
      • Must be able to obtain a polygraph
    • Proven experience as a senior software engineer or engineering lead, with a track record of successfully delivering software projects
    • Developing Level Of Effort Engineering Estimates
    • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
    • Strong technical expertise in software development, including proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
    • Experience managing and leading software engineering teams, with a focus on talent development and performance management.
    • In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, best practices, and industry trends.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Experience with generating technical documentation
    • Experience working in an Agile software development environment and/or experience using Jira/Confluence are highly desirable

    Desired Qualifications: ​

    • Candidates that have technical breadth and depth across software engineering disciplines and can manage technical teams internally while interfacing with the customer. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully leading programs with a strong background in software engineering.
    • TS/SCI with a Polygraph
    • Program Increment Planning Event experience
    • Expertise in Agile development processes and tools.
    • Proven record interfacing with customers and developing external relationships.
    • Excellent governance (ITIL, Testing methodology, Change Management, Stakeholder management, Cross-team collaboration, Workflow management, etc)
    • Strong self-starter with the ability to see fine-grain details but have the wisdom to reprioritize and not stuck in tunnel vision

    Telework Availability: Limited telework is available, but must be able to work at corporate and/or customer site

    Work Location: NCR (including but not limited to Annapolis Junction MD and Reston VA)

    Summary Pay Range:

    Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    $210,000-$270,000
