Join Our Team as a PET CT Scan Technologist in San Antonio, TX!

• Annual Salary Range: $62,500 - $85,900, based on experience.
• 🎉 Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

⏰ Shift: Full-time • Days (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary and Qualifications:

• Conduct PET CT procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
• Maintain records for quality control and state agencies.
• Handle radioactive materials safely and administer specified medications as directed.
• Evaluate workflow for efficiency and provide input to management.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform PET CT procedures according to protocols, assess image quality, and complete all study requirements.
2. Improve patient care and streamline procedures, offering suggestions to enhance workflow.
3. Deliver excellent patient care and customer service during PET/CT duties.
4. Conduct in-service training on Radiation Protection and Exposure for the Radiation Safety Officer.
5. Keep management informed of changes in the Radiation Protection Program.
6. Act as a key contact for radiation exposure or program questions in the absence of the Radiation Safety Officer.
7. Coordinate technologist coverage as needed for the imaging department.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required, Associate Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Must be registered and in good standing with ARRT (N) or NMCTB and certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services (CMRT).
• Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board and CPR certification required.
