Chief Financial Officer
The Easton Area School District is seeking a progressive and methodical Chief Financial Officer. This executive cabinet level position reports directly to the Superintendent. The position is responsible to manage the District finances and business office operations including but not limited to budget development, insurance, debt service, forecasting, financial accounting and reporting, payroll, purchasing, audit oversight, capital financing and investments. The Chief Financial Officer also provides oversight to the food service vendor.
This full-time twelve-month position requires candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance, accounting or business administration and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience. A Masters in Business Administration and experience in a K-12 setting preferred. An understanding of fund accounting and generally accepted accounting practices is required. The Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the listed qualifications. Selected candidates will participate in a series of interviews as well as meeting all other local requirements. A salary range of $160,000 - $170,000 commensurate with experience and knowledge.
