    The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial direction of HJH Investments. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, with a focus on supporting our commercial real estate acquisitions and investment activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, extensive experience in the real estate industry, and exceptional leadership skills.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Financial Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to identify and pursue strategic growth initiatives while optimizing financial performance.


    Investment Management:

    • Lead the financial aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, including structuring deals, negotiating terms, and securing financing.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities, perform pro forma analysis, and assess feasibility to ensure alignment with investment criteria and objectives.
    • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry dynamics to inform investment decisions and maximize returns.


    Financial Reporting and Compliance:

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.


    Risk Management and Internal Controls:

    • Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate financial risks associated with acquisitions, investments, and operations.
    • Establish and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and maintain financial integrity.
    • Identify potential areas of risk and develop strategies to address and mitigate them effectively.


    Leadership and Team Development:

    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and career growth.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, including lenders, investors, and financial institutions, to enhance the company's reputation and credibility.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on commercial real estate acquisitions and investments.
    • Proven track record of successfully executing complex real estate transactions and managing investment portfolios.
    • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in analyzing investment opportunities and financial performance.
    • Deep understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and achieving measurable outcomes.
