Chief Diagnostic Imaging Operations Technologist directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations including nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol. Being a Chief Diagnostic Imaging Operations Technologist regulates the maintenance of departmental facilities, supplies, equipment, and material in a manner to promote health, comfort, and efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Chief Diagnostic Imaging Operations Technologist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Boulder Community health is seeking a Radiology Technologist that performs all aspects of diagnostic radiological studies, consistently producing the highest quality exams possible.

Qualifications
Degree from Radiological Technology school as required by ARRT registration Required.
ARRT registered or registry eligible
BLS required by end of conditional period.
Responsibilities
Provides quality patient care.
Performs exams using good judgment in scanning, radiographing, and documenting anatomy/pathology.
Assists the radiologist and other physicians with interpretation of exams.
Assists the radiologists and other physicians with invasive procedures.
Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital.
Performs injections of contrast material (oral, rectal, and IV) if applicable.
Monitors and cleans equipment, and reports equipment problems to the Supervisor or Imaging Director.
Works toward goal of quality improvement.
Schedules patients.
Assists in the training of new technologists and students.
