Chief Diagnostic Imaging Operations Technologist directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations including nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol. St. John's offers 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients We have outpatient access seven days a week.

Schedule: This is a .7FTE (56 hours worked per two weeks position). The shift length will be 8 hours,
11:00PM - 7:00AM (7on/7off) on the night shift.

· Operates fixed and portable radiographic equipment.
· Provides care appropriate to patients of all age groups, through appropriate communication with co-workers, patients, and other personnel.
· Interprets appropriate data and information needed to identify each patients' needs.
· Provides appropriate safety measures to assure radiation protection according to department and state guidelines.
· Uses appropriate patient identification, acquiring pertinent clinical information, marking films, and appropriate technical techniques for imaging quality.
· Evaluates completed radiographs regarding technique and positioning - make corrections when appropriate to maintain set standard per policy and procedure.
Required Qualifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (before date of hire) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a technologist
