    The United States Space Force (USSF) at the Pentagon is searching for a Deputy Director for Civilian Policy and Programs (NH-0201-04, GS14/15 equivalent).

    Description:
    The United States Space Force's (USSF) Chief Human Capital Office (CHCO) is looking to hire its next Deputy Director for Civilian Policy and Programs. S1C is responsible for the design and management of civilian personnel policy and programs for the USSF; we are pathfinders, passionate about data and taking care of our Guardians.     About the organization:

    S1C is comprised of 4 branches and oversees the policy, programs and performance for the Headquarters, 3 Field Commands, 2 Direct Reporting Units, and the Enterprise Talent Management office in more than 120 geographical locations world-wide.

    This position is non-supervisory and reports to the S1C Director, who reports to the Chief Human Capital Officer (SES, Tier 3). The CHCO is a direct report to the Chief of Space Operations (4 Star General).

    • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
