The Chief Audit Officer manages the Association's internal audit function, including credit, financial and operational audits and reviews.

Responsibilities/Duties:
* Manages the internal review process, through monitoring the compliance and adequacy of internal controls and audit functions to prove accurate and reliable analysis of association performance.
* Acts as liaison to internal and external partners.
* Provides leadership of the audit team.
* Assists the CEO in planning and providing reports and recommendations on key issues to the Board.
* Ensures legal protection through effective management of legal services and litigation.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
* At least eight years of experience in a review or audit position, including supervisory experience
* Valid driver's license
* Related professional certifications
* Understanding of multiple Borrower-Rights and Truth in Lending policies and procedures
* Working knowledge of association policies and procedures
* Strong analysis, judgment and communication (oral and written) skills
* Ability to perform the AICR and Audit function while maintaining good employee morale
* Able to frequently travel overnight
