Center of Family Love (CFL) in Okarche, OK is a faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides residential and employment programs for adults with intellectual disabilities by cultivating their interests, skills and independence to live creative, productive and joyous lives. Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plans and directs accounting activities within Accounting Department. The CFO also advises the CEO on financial policies and helps guide the organization in its financial stewardship.
Responsibilities:
Leads in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
Facilitates the implementation and/or migration of all accounting software.
Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.
Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with a Master's preferred.
At least seven years of experience in a leadership role related to finance and business operations.
