    As a member of the executive team, the CFO will report to the CEO and assume a leadership role in the financial management of the Company. This leader will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling the finance and accounting activities of the Company. As a hands-on leader, the CFO will have a detailed understanding of the processes and internal controls surrounding the financial function. The CFO will provide insights to help the Company maximize its financial performance and guide the alignment of the Company’s infrastructure to support continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will have had proven success driving business growth in a PE-backed healthcare services business, have M&A experience, have strong financial reporting experience, and have a proven ability to provide proactive insights into the financial implications of various business decisions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE/REVENUE CYCLE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

    • Work closely with CEO, PE sponsor, BOD, and the operating executives to drive the Company to superior levels of performance – with an emphasis on improving and scaling the infrastructure to support profitable growth and cash flow management.
    • Build and manage a cash flow model to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
    • Provide financial leadership, planning, guidance, and analysis across all major initiatives of the Company.
    • Lead the process of translating operational plans into reliable financial forecasts including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow items.
    • Assess and improve as needed the finance and accounting infrastructure; leverage and implement reliable systems and cost-effective processes from top to bottom to support next stage of growth and permit real-time decision-making.
    • Ensure the timely preparation of all financial statements, reporting packages and investor packages.
    • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports on a regular basis, as requested or required, including but not limited to year-to-date cash flow statements, quarterly reports, monthly financial statements, and balance sheets.
    • Effectively communicate financial information, including developing and making BOD presentations with respect to the Company’s financial performance.
    • Influence corporate strategy through financial insight and understanding of the business.
    • Work with the Audit Committee and Auditors to assure that internal controls are adequate to safeguard assets.
    • Manage the financial planning and reporting capabilities related to existing operations, capital requirements and business development initiatives.
    • Develop and manage outside relationships with commercial banks, tax advisors, auditors, and other outside service providers appropriate to the financial function.
    • Design and monitor enterprise performance metrics to measure success against strategic plans.
    • Demonstrate understanding of the business and proactively implement metrics and processes to collect and analyze the data to better manage the business and effect positive change.
    • Provide financial direction as part of modeling process for business development activities.
    • Participate in acquisitions which will include the financial analyses and related due diligence and integration activities.
    • Monitor regulations and ensure compliance of financial policies and practices are in accordance with federal and state industry regulations and guidelines; manage required government agencies.
    • Interact with banks and investors about their credit agreements. Demonstrate a strong understanding of credit agreements and serve as a respected representative of the Company to the Board, lenders, and equity investors.
    • Provide analysis of operations to gain insights into “best practices” and optimizing performance.
    • Manage all treasury operations of the Company, including investments, cash flow management, cash forecasting, securing and managing credit, establishing and implementing credit and collection policies, and risk management activities.
    • Maintain an effective finance organization through the evaluation, selection, training, and development of financial personnel.

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • 12 years of proven leadership experience directing finance and accounting teams.
    • Operationally oriented with experience in a healthcare services business model required.
    • Successful track record of operationalizing growth through back-office automation, process discipline, and standardization.
    • Previous experience as a CFO or Vice President in a Private Equity sponsored organization.
    • Experience working in high-growth entrepreneurial companies.
    • Experience working with outside investors providing timely and accurate information at their request.
    • Prior experience assessing and improving finance infrastructure; leveraging and implementing reliable systems and cost-effective processes.
    • Strategic thought partner to the CEO.
    • Mission-driven individual who has a passion for providing excellent patient care.
    • Third-party reimbursement experience.
    • Strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Prior BOD experience – has attended board meetings and done presentations.
    • Ability to work as a partner with the senior management team on strategic initiatives.
    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures related to accounting and financial reporting requirements.
    • Ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships with all financial stakeholders including investors, banks, and auditors.
    • Prior experience in acquisition targeting, due diligence, negotiations, and integration.
    • Ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and scale.
    • Experience growing a business through acquisitions.
    • Demonstrated focus on value creation, overall direction, and strategy.
    • Track record in introducing improvements to enhance business performance, using robust analysis and benchmarking
    • Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred

    EXPECTED WORK HOURS

    Monday through Friday, 8.00 am-5.00pm. Some night and weekend work may be required.
