Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team. As a Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for providing flight training and instruction to aspiring pilots. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and passion for aviation with others.
Duties:
- Conduct flight training sessions in accordance with established curriculum
- Provide one-on-one instruction to students, both in the classroom and in the aircraft
- Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures for takeoff, landing, and in-flight maneuvers
- Supervise and evaluate student performance during flight lessons
- Develop and update training materials and lesson plans
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of student training activities
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to effectively plan and organize flight lessons
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor students throughout their training
- Proficient in aviate software for flight planning and navigation purposes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for record keeping and data analysis
- Ability to educate and explain complex aviation concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Experience supervising student pilots during flight operations
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles for aviation training programs
