Chief MRI Technologist oversees work in the magnetic resonance department, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of MRIs. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for services. Being a Chief MRI Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of MRI Technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief MRI Technologist may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Requires a registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief MRI Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief MRI Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. RECEPTIONIST- MRI Department- Fulltime Evening Shift
The Receptionist occupies and manages the desk in MRI Department. This includes, but is not limited to, checking in patients, handling calls, setting up patient charts, entering information into the computer system as it relates to the patients visit, as well as making sure paperwork is completed accurately and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications – High School Diploma/GED required. Experience required in one or more of the following areas: patient care, public relations, customer service or other related area.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
