Job Title: Chief Medical Officer 

Reports to: President

Job Description: As the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Amera Imaging you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional medical care and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our imaging services. You will collaborate closely with our clinical and administrative teams to drive innovation, optimize workflows, and enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

1. Medical Oversight: Provide medical leadership and oversight for all clinical activities within the imaging facility. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and best practices in diagnostic imaging.
2. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and evaluate the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of imaging interpretations and reports. Implement corrective actions as needed to maintain quality standards.
3. Clinical Governance: Establish and maintain clinical governance structures to promote accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in clinical practices and outcomes.
4. Physician Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to patient care by working closely with referring physicians, radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Technology Integration: Stay abreast of advances in imaging technology and informatics. Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to enhance diagnostic capabilities, efficiency, and patient experience.
6. Training and Education: Provide educational and training opportunities for imaging staff to ensure proficiency in imaging techniques, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
7. Patient Safety: Implement and monitor safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure, prevent contrast-related adverse events, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements governing imaging facilities, including licensure, accreditation, and quality reporting.
9. Research and Innovation: Encourage and support research initiatives aimed at advancing the field of diagnostic imaging and improving clinical outcomes for patients.
