Chief Medical Officer directs the staff and develops policies for the organization's clinical programs. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Being a Chief Medical Officer oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations and standards. Evaluates developments and innovations in medical care and makes recommendations for new practices and procedures. Additionally, Chief Medical Officer advises CEO and medical teams on matters impacting patient care. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice Medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Chief Medical Officer manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. This CFO, Chief Financial Officer, opening is with a reputable, Private-Practice Imaging Center in the state of Oregon. This private-practice is owned and operated by a group of local radiologists with the mission of providing the highest level of patient care to their community. This practice has 24 provider / partners, 100 employees, and two locations. Services provided include 3T MRI, Low Dose Catscan (CT), digital x-rays, mammography, ultrasound, and more. This center is looking for a CFO who can help take this team to the next level!
The CFO will be delighted to know this center has been providing services for 50 years. They are excited and eager for a Masters prepared finance leader to be joining their team as the next Chief Financial Officer. Prior experience in the healthcare setting either in a private practice, hospital setting, FQHC Clinic, Urgent Care, or any other healthcare setting in either a Director of Finance or CFO capacity will make for quick interviews!
Responsibilities of the Clinic Chief Financial Officer include overseeing financial planning, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decision making and ensure the company’s financial stability and growth. Additional duties include analyzing data, providing financial guidance to the leadership team, ensuring compliance, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs).
