Additionally, Chief Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Chief Nurse Anesthetist typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. As a CRNA with our prestigious medical facility, you will play a pivotal role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. From routine surgeries to complex interventions, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the perioperative period.
Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia techniques, and monitor patient responses during surgery.
- Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies with confidence and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advances in anesthesia practice.
Requirements:- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
