The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for operations of all programs through direct contact with the Administrators/Directors. The COO is responsible for safeguarding and augmenting the efficiency of the organization and ensuring New Horizons’ Policies and Procedures and Philosophy and Guidelines are taught and upheld in all programs. In addition, they are responsible for leading and directing overall quality improvement initiatives (PQI) to facilitate long-term success. The Chief Operating Officer is a key member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while directly managing and collaborating with other department directors, coordinators and staff.
