KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute CEO strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
• Guide the team to accomplish strategic objectives.
• Mentor and lead department heads, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Manage and supervise tasks across various departments, including retail, buying, warehousing, HR/bookkeeping, administration, customer service, and remote teams.
• Lead and inspire the operations team, ensuring seamless logistics and efficient warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the CEO in aligning operational strategies with financial goals.
• Take ownership of the accountability chart, optimizing resource utilization.
• Spearhead the setup of new warehouses and enhance overall warehouse efficiencies.
• Oversee the growth and development of the buying team, including the recruitment of Key Account Managers.
• Effectively manage remote teams, including Business Growth Managers and Buyers.
• Implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) automation for brand testing.
• Serve as the focal point in the development and growth of the business, ensuring a forward-thinking and proactive approach.

This is an in person, on-site position based in Memphis, TN.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required:

• 3 years as Director of Operations Management experience
• Hands-on, decision-making, e-commerce operations experience
• Proven track record of managing 10 or more direct reports

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a Chief Operating Officer (COO)
• Proficiency in retail data analysis and performance evaluation
• Brick and Mortar operations, expansion, and M&A experience
• Background in Logistics and Warehousing operations

Desired:

• Vendor Relationship Management experience
• Previous roles as a Buyer in a relevant industry
• Background in Marketing operations

SALARY: $150K - $175K
