The hospital is a Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center and it provides immediate care to infants, children and adolescents with life-threatening traumatic injuries 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Nurse Officer CNO will be responsible for overseeing effective day-to-day operations, short and long range planning, strategic marketing and business plan development to ensure marketplace competitiveness, the development of new services and programs, effective fiscal management, and effective quality improvement and quality control processes.
The Chief Nursing Executive CNE will be recommending and implementing innovative organizational structures and delivery models which support the safe and effective provision of patient care, treatment and services and the development and support of a practice environment, which enables the recruitment and retention of a high functioning staff.
The Chief Nursing Executive CNE will be responsible for the provision of nursing services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
