Job Summary:
As a Chief Operating Officer your primary responsibility is to ensure aligning company strategies with business goals encompassing both strategic and leadership functions.
Developing and overseeing the team to achieve the company’s success. Managing the day-to-day business operations of the company working closely with team members supporting growth and development of employees and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Leadership: Execute and communicate the company’s long- term vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Provide strategic guidance to the executive team and department heads to ensure alignment with the company’s goals.
2. Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of each department, ensuring efficient processes and the achievement of functional goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess overall company’s health.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication across all departments and functional roles, promoting a unified approach to achieving company objectives. Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment and resolve cross functional challenges.
4. Leadership Development: Identify and nurture leadership talent within the organization, providing mentorship and growth opportunities for high performance individuals. Ensure a strong leadership pipeline to support future organizational needs.
5. External Relations & Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, partners and industry leaders. Represent the company in external forums, conferences and negotiations.
6. Resource Allocation: Effective resource management allocating resources to support various initiatives while maintaining financial discipline with creation and managing company profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
-Five to 10 years of experience in a COO position
-Real estate or real estate technology operations experience preferred.
-Proven experience in a leadership role to lead and inspire the executive team and department heads, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
-Strategic Thinking with the ability to envision and articulate a clear long-term strategy for the company and align all functions toward its achievements
-Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to hire and mentor a high-performing team. Promoting collaboration and synergy among different departments and functional roles
-Proven problem-solving skills and a track record of implementing effective solutions. -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
