This award-winning Critical Access Hospital is comprised of a 25 bed acute-care, Level IV Trauma Hospital with a rural health clinic, a 70 patient bed Assisted Living Facility, a retail & community pharmacy, and 24/7 emergency services. The Chief Nursing Officer will be leading a medical center that has been recognized on both the national and local level as seen with their Get With The Guidelines Award and a Rural Stroke Bronze 2023 Award; therefore, emphasizing this hospital is one that emphasizes patient care and quality metrics.

In the role of Chief Nursing Officer, this nursing leader will oversee multiple clinic departments including Obstetrics, Surgical Services, Quality Management, other Inpatient Services, and Ancillary Services. The Chief Nursing Officer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be supported by department directors and additional healthcare staff.  

The ideal candidate for the Hospital Chief Nursing Officer opportunity will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), demonstrate a strong tenure throughout their career, and bring 10 years of clinical leadership experience. A Master's degree is preferred. As the CNO, this advanced leader will play a pivotal role in directing and coordinating clinical care activities aligned with the goals and objectives set forth by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Governing authority. Ensuring the quality and safety of clinical services meet Accreditation standards is a primary responsibility. The Chief Nursing Officer will provide strategic guidance to management for the development and promotion of both new and existing services, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational direction.
