Chief Pilot (Jet Fleet) provides leadership and management of pilots, schedules, and records to maintain efficient and safe flight operations, comply with all FAA regulations, and deliver operational performance on company goals. Maintains the required FAA records and documentation for certifications, crews, flight times, aircraft, and activity. Being a Chief Pilot (Jet Fleet) keeps informed about current aviation developments and regulations that impact flight operations. Coordinates pilot training and development plans to ensure all are ready for flight duty. Additionally, Chief Pilot (Jet Fleet) uses the Safety Management System (SMS) to identify, mitigate, and manage risk in operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Chief Pilot (Jet Fleet) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. OUR CURRENT NEED:
We have press operator roles available for day and night shift. We guarantee a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The tasks a Press Operator performs includes:
1. Must have 1.5 years of Flexographic Print Operator Experience
2. Must be able to lift 75 pounds
3. Must be able to climb ladders to the height of five feet
4. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time to perform daily duties
5. General housekeeping of Pressroom
6. Be physically capable of loading and unloading material onto and off the press properly.
7. Press Operators must complete a graduated training program consisting of basic operations and theory regarding flexographic printing operations. Upon completion of each program, the employee will be promoted to the next level. Each additional level requires a higher level of understanding and competency level to progress and exhibit the following competencies within the first ninety (90) days:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
1. 1.5 years of flexographic printing operator experience.
2. Be able to grasp how to clean and carry out basic maintenance of all equipment supporting press operations.
3. Have a basic understanding of how to read a tape measure.
4. Be capable of understanding the concept of ink viscosity and monitor viscosity consistency throughout the entire job.
5. Be capable of learning about the cleaning and maintenance of press ink chambers and components.
6. Be capable of learning about the cleaning and maintenance of Ink pumps and hoses.
7. Be able to learn about inventorying, monitoring, and returning inks when jobs are completed.
7. Willing to learn beyond the Press Apprentice duties and be mentored as a Press Operator.
8. Previous experience with operating forklift is recommended.
