Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. OUR CURRENT NEED:
We are in need of a Slitter Apprentice who can train on days and flex to nights. The apprentice position assists the operator position. There is a good opportunity for swift advancement to an operator role for the right person.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
(1) must be able to lift 50-60 pounds regularly.
(2) must read and write legibly.
(3) must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16" and calculate and reduce fractions of an inch.
(4) Perform quality checks to make certain that finished products meet customer needs.
(5) Safely handle all material, finished products and packing material with the production site to ensure proper packing requirements.
(6) work at a fast pace and in a team environment.
(7) Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but with aptitude, we can train the right person.
(8) Ability to learn and move up to operator role.
