Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Position Summary:
A Fleet Technician A is responsible for the repair, maintenance and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment within the Reyes Holdings family of businesses. The A level Technician will assist in the diagnosis of major components, remove/ replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service. Through their knowledge of the distribution industry, the Reyes Fleet Management team works with the companies to reduce costs, ensure compliance standards and assist locations with value added solutions to provide well maintained equipment for employees’ use.
