Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. This full time, 40 hour per week position will provide coverage in AMI's South Office locations. The work schedule includes varying shift times Monday-Friday. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Qualified candidates for this position must be a graduate or upcoming graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and are registered or are registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Must obtain valid and current NJ Rad Tech license as well as a CPR/BLS certification (must include hands-on instruction) prior to start of employment. Candidates must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. Must be able to adapt to changing technologies as they occur. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.
