Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Description
At Western Vascular Institute we are looking for a highly qualified Radiologic Technologist/Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team of highly skilled professionals. Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Cath Lab experience is highly preferred. Applicants should be self-motivating and have a teamwork mentality. Must be able to act as a float between both our Mesa & Phoenix Clinics.
Primary job duties include: providing fluoroscopic guidance to physicians performing endovascular peripheral intervention. Applicant should be an experienced technologist well versed in utilizing portable c-arm units and their various functions.
